Bouygues aimed to diversify its educational content
For its training, Bouygues chose to make them more impactful, more attractive, by diversifying the content of these training sessions. Very short content, such as 1 or 3-minute videos featuring a quiz, seemed like the ideal combination, the best short format for learning.
Thus, Bouygues needed to rely on a partner that would enable the group to create its own videos. Engaging an agency would have meant disseminating Bouygues' staff, which would have been very time-consuming, as it would have required explaining all internal contexts.
Bouygues' employees were already familiar with these internal contexts for several years. Using an in-house video editing tool saved them time by avoiding misunderstandings in briefs and unnecessary back-and-forths with an agency.
Internalising video creation allowed for the production of diverse training formats
Bouygues conducted onboarding training for new recruits, and presented internal apps available for memory anchoring, all thanks to a short, playful video format.
For its training, Bouygues also conducted interviews with employees sharing their internal expertise, to showcase this knowledge through short formats.
Another highly valued video content by learners was the summary of webinars for employees who couldn’t attend.
Pitchy, the ideal tool to quickly create fun videos and make training more enjoyable
"Pitchy is simple and easy to use. Once you know how video sequences work, it becomes pretty simple to edit. A 2-3 minute video learning was created in half-a day."
Pitchy, an easy-to-use video editing tool that, allowed Bouygues Télécom to maintain coherence in its communications
Pitchy allows the creation of playful videos: Bouygues' first use case was promoting a mobile app for memory anchoring via AI, implemented internally. The Content team created a video with a playful format, allowing them to have something visually appealing.
Another notable point is that Pitchy allowed the creation of customisable video templates, usable by all teams at the national level, thereby bringing a certain fluidity to communication.
Three main benefits of the Pitchy tool: simplicity, time savings and customer support
The video templates and media libraries (music, images, icons, etc.) make video creation easy, and including your filmed rushes in a premade template adds dynamism to the content, with the integrated graphic charter.
The ability to duplicate videos saves a tremendous amount of time in production, for an HR team that needs to create many videos.
