Pitchy raises 40 million euros to expand in Europe and invest in AI
Six years after its initial €4 million financing round, BtoB video software publisher raises €40 million
Pitchy returns to fund-raising. Six years after its first financing round of €4 million, the BtoB video software publisher has succeeded in raising €40 million for its Series B round.
The start-up, which claims between €10 and €15 million in ARR, chose two French VCs: Isatis Capital, which led the round, and Entrepreneur Invest. Seventure Partners, Pitchy’s long-standing investor, is also going back into the contribution.
A large part of the capital raised will be allocated to R&D to integrate a generative AI service into the software. This new option would enable companies to produce videos in a completely automated way. In addition, following the acquisition in 2022 of Kannelle, a smartphone-based image capture and video editing application, external growth is also a growth driver for Pitchy, which will be seeking new financing to expand in Europe.
